I’m a real estate guy with a passion for personal finance. My real estate career has taken me from buying, fixing, and selling (flipping) homes, to founding my own real estate brokerage to becoming a real estate developer. I have represented buyers and sellers, mentored agents, managed properties, and I have developed residential and commercial real estate projects, from townhomes to storage units to 100,000 sf + concrete tilt warehouses.
As a hotshot MBA grad with an emphasis in finance, a small real estate brokerage owner, and a recent new homeowner facing the fear and reality of the mortgage meltdown of 2008, I found myself trying to get my finances in order and trying figure out where my money was going and how to best use it. At my kitchen table, through countless spreadsheets and models I discovered the foundations of Homes in Order: $1 equals $5, and $2 equals $1,000.
I’m happily married with 3 kids, and I enjoy front row seats to my kids’ soccer, baseball, softball, and basketball games, track meets, bike races, piano recitals, and orchestra, band, and choir concerts. I’m also a NICA certified high school mountain bike coach and love the outdoors.
